FALSE FRIENDS

"False friends" are pair of words in two languages that look or sound similar but differ significantly in meaning. One of the most popular examples is the Spanish word "embarazada" and the English word "embarrassed", which look similar but are very different in meaning.

As I was correcting your reader exams, I realised that some of you were being victims of false friends, so I thoight it might be a good idea to provide you with a list of the most common false friends. Here you are!
