Factory workers had to go out to the streets for water. Remember they had to share a few water pumps.
Compare the housing conditions above with the following Middle Classes Terraced houses and villas which can still be seen nowadays:
It's inincredible how the houses change from the victorian period to now a days. The poor houses where very dirty and ugly. But the middle class houses where beautiful and very big. I like them very much.

2- In the Victorian period factory workers didn't have any domestic appliances. However, nowadays we have many of them.
3- In the Victorian period middle class people had piped gas for heating and cooking. However, nowadays we have electric heaters for heating and electric cooker for cooking.
4- In the Victorian period factory workers didn't have bathrooms. However, nowadays we have an average of two bathrooms.
5- In the Victorian period up to twenty people lived in a house. However, nowadays the average is of three or four people.
6- In the Victorian period the hoyses were very small. However, nowadays our houses are quite big.

ReplyDeleteIn the middle ages in Europe anybody can`t ate a lot of products like chocalate, tomatoes etc. because they weren`t founded, whereas, nowadays anybody can eat products of all the parts of the world with any problem.
In the middle ages women prepared the food in the peasant`s houses and men were cooks in the manor houses. Whereas, everybody can cook in their houses and women are cooks too

However, in the 1900s, factory workers lit their houses using candles. But, middle classes lit their homes with electric light bulbs. Nowadays, we use lamps and bulbs to get light.

In the Middle ages, peasants hosuses were call huts, witch they were made of straw roofs, wooden or local stones and dirt floors. They were dark, cold and damp. In the Victorian period,they lived in slums,terraced hose or villas in more select areas. However, nowadays we live in appartament, semidechated, flats, farms... made of marvel,brick, concrette etc. in a very good living conditions.
