3rd EVALUATION IN BATXILERGOA 2

You have just started working on the third evaluation topics and skills and as you know, the third evaluation is going to be a bit different comparing to the first previous ones.
  • GRAMMAR & VOCABULARY:
We will work on Units 9: "work" and 10: "health" (only vocabulary) (6p)
  • READER:
    "The Talented Mr. Ripley" (1p)
  • SELECTIVITY TEXT: (3p)
  • TRANSLATIONS or CORRECTING THE MISTAKES.(1p)
As you see, in this evaluation, traditional skills we have worked and assessed in previous evaluations get out, and  we work on other  useful techniques for selectivity exams.
However, there are two groups in Batx 2, with different needs, and we are going to vary our curriculum a little bit. Consequently, Itxaro's students are going to work on TRANSLATIONS, and Helena's students will work on CORRETING THE MISTAKES.Why? The answer is very simple, both groups have got different needs so we will try to fulfill them in different ways.

CORRECTING THE MISTAKES

For selectivity exams, writing with correctness is essential. Whenever you write something, we correct your work using a chart where the most typical mistakes you make are gathered. You must get concious of the mistakes you make, otherwise it's impossible to write with correctness. So, once in a while we will work on them, and you will also be assessed on them with 1 p of the English mark.
