DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED ON ...?

DBH4 students from the SSLIC project are working on some historical events that happened along history. The idea is to find out what historical events occurred on the same day that students were born. As an example, we will analyse some things that happened on the 29th of May and at the same time, deal with different types of texts. One of them refers to "The Empress of Ireland", a vessel that sank and caused a bigger tragedy than the Titanic one. Here you have a video that explains what happened and gives you some information about that time. The soundtrack of this video belongs to the song "Sleeping Sun" by Nightwish. While you watch the video (or after, in a revision), try to get the words that are missing to complete the lyrics of the song clicking on the following exercise.
