- First, read the questions before you read the text, to get an idea of what the text will be about.
- Then read the text carefully, twice if necessary.
- Questions needn't be in chronological order, so don't expect to find the answer to the first question in the first paragraph, and so on... Anyway, it could also be so.
- Always answer open questions with full answers, so don't start with "because" if the question is "Why".
- Remember that the further you answer in your own words, the better. This includes rephrasing the questions too.
- But if you are not sure what a word means, don't look for a synonym, use the same word and try to change the syntax.
- In the TRUE / FALSE exercise, you can quote from the text, that is, you can copy literally from the text (Use inverted commas) and write the line numbers.
- When writing the composition don't forget to use connectors. They make a big difference.
FINALLY, SPEND AS MUCH TIME AS NECESSARY!
IT IS THE LAST EXAM, BUT IT IS AS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR FINAL MARK AS ANY OTHER!
See you on Friday (I don't want to see you coming out of the classroom before 12:45), ok?
